Matt Purcell

Region 4 Representative (Scioto DD)

Matt Purcell, Superintendent of the Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Scioto DD), serves as OACB’s Region 4 Representative. He has led Scioto DD since 2018, following nine years as the board’s business manager. With experience in both fiscal leadership and operations, Matt brings a well-rounded perspective to his work in the DD system.

He is passionate about supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families and values being part of meaningful, purpose-driven work. As an OACB Trustee, Matt enjoys engaging in thoughtful, solution-focused conversations that lead to improved outcomes across Ohio.

Matt lives with his wife, Erika, and their three children.
