Our Mission

Clermont County Public Defender Commission is accepting applications for the position of full-time Public Defender Director effective October 1, 2026. Applicants should have significant criminal law background as well as some management experience. Additionally, the Director must obtain and maintain Death Penalty Certification. The position involves oversight of 20 attorneys, 4 administrative assistants, 3 social workers, and 1 investigator. The duties include those outlined in R.C. §120.15 as well as assisting the PD Commission in performing its responsibilities under R.C. §120.14. The salary is between $118,000 and $140,000.
