ACEP Leadership & Advocacy Conference

Registration for ACEP’s Leadership and Advocacy Conference, May 20-23 in Washington DC, is now open. Many exciting workshops have been planned and there will be several sessions on chapter leadership, including: Chapter Leadership Orientation, Chapter Officers Forum and the breakfast sessions for large chapters and small/medium chapters.

Many sessions will be offered regarding advocacy, public policy and public relations. The conference will also feature visits with key legislators on the Hill. Several receptions have been planned including the opening reception and the Congressional Reception on the evening of Tuesday, May 22. This year, a maximum of 8.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM can be earned at the meeting.

This year’s featured speakers will be Dan Morhaim, MD, FACEP, Deputy Majority Leader, Maryland House of Delegates; John A. Barrasso, MD, US Senator (R-WY); Joseph R. Pitts, US Representative (R-PA); and Marilyn Tavenner, Acting Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
