John Queen Deer Heart DissectionAfter receiving his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University, Dr. Queen studied medicine at The Ohio State University and went on to complete his IM/EM residency at the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine at Chicago.

Dr. Queen enjoys activities with his wife and kids, such as photography, fishing and hunting, as well as coaching softball, baseball and football. Even outside the arena of emergency medicine, Dr. Queen is a natural instructor. Each year, he does a heart dissection for the fifth graders at Maple Elementary School in Chardon. Pictured to the right, Dr. Queen prepares for one of these dissections alongside his son, who was a student that year. Elected in 2011, Dr. Queen is in his first term serving on the Ohio ACEP Board of Directors.
