Board members are elected by ballot by majority vote of the Chapter membership at the annual meeting. This year’s annual meeting will take place at the All Ohio Emergency Medicine Assembly on June 3 & 4, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel Worthington/Columbus, Ohio. Board members shall serve for three years. Their terms of office shall begin at the close of the Annual Meeting at which they are elected. There are 15 members of the Ohio ACEP Board.
THREE Board members will be elected by the membership to serve a three year term. Current Board members with expiring terms are eligible for re-nomination and re-election.
There are also SEVEN available Chapter Council seats. Seven current Councillors are eligible for re-election to a two-year term if they choose to run. Alternate Councillors are also needed. If a Councillor is not present at a College Council meeting, an Alternate Councillor will be seated in place of the absent Councillor.
Ohio Chapter ACEP has been allotted thirteen Councillors for the October 2013 Council meeting in Seattle.
