Ohio’s Council Delegation—Your Voice at ACEP Council

On October 12 and 13, ACEP members from all over the country will gather in Seattle for the 2013 ACEP Council meeting, and the Ohio delegation of Councillors and Alternate Councillors will be on hand to represent Ohio ACEP and its members.

Each year, Council meets for two days in conjunction with the College’s annual Scientific Assembly to deliberate and vote on Board of Directors candidates, potential changes to ACEP Bylaws and proposed Resolutions that—if adopted—will guide ACEP initiatives, allocate funds and set policies in the coming years.

Councillors serve as your voice to National ACEP. Their job is to represent the interests of their fellow Ohio ACEP members and vote to guide the specialty of emergency medicine accordingly. Ohio ACEP thanks each of its outstanding Councillors and Alternate Councillors for their time and dedication to their medical specialty, their EM colleagues and—ultimately—to ensuring the best possible care for all patients.
