Believe it or not it has been three years since OADA presented this seminar to nearly 400 dealership personnel around the state. While the motor vehicle titling process has remained relatively unchanged for seventy years, recent changes such as internet sales, e-titling, and increasing number of export vehicle sales, new forms, non-resident sales, as well as a number of other developments have created an abundance of questions for dealerships.
Once again, this seminar will dedicate a portion of the presentation to reviewing the basics. These topics include title cancellations; odometer disclosure; minor consent forms; abandoned vehicle applications; MSOs; and much more. In addition to the nuts and bolts of the titling process, discussion will include many additional areas where mistakes are commonly made that often delay the titling process, thus causing those after the sale headaches that all dealerships want to avoid. Do you have questions concerning:
These topics as well as many others will be covered during the 3 1/2 hour seminar.
Each attendee will not only receive a copy of the power point presentation, but also a comprehensive titling manual that can be used as a reference resource or as a training tool for employees new to the titling process.
This seminar series offers an excellent review of the fundamentals while at the same time providing dealership personnel the ability to learn firsthand the ongoing evolution of the titling process.
Our featured speaker will once again be Debbie Couch. Debbie currently serves as the Acting Chief for Vehicle Information Services, and has nearly twenty years of experience with the BMV.
Who should attend? We know from the past titling personnel will attend and learn a great deal from this seminar. However don’t forget that F & I and sales are integrally involved in this process. Many of the “after the sale” titling problems we assist dealerships with could have been avoided if at the time of sale certain steps had been taken. We therefore encourage you to bring these employees as well.
We want your questions! The best way for us to provide the information you need is to hear from you before the seminar. We will forward your question(s) to the appropriate people so that the experts may get you an answer during the seminar. Please email your questions to DeAnna Zahniser at OADA, dzahniser@oada.com, or fax them to 614-766-9600, attn: DeAnna. This is a unique opportunity to get all of your questions answered from the experts in the titling process in Ohio.
This is a “don’t miss” seminar that promises to hold your attention and inform at the same time. Please see the enclosed registration form. If you have any questions, please contact DeAnna Zahniser at OADA, 800-686-9100.
