My research focuses on intergenerational service-learning and interprofessional education.
I teach undergraduate courses focused on development, including [lifespan] developmental psychology, psychology of aging, and psychology of death and dying, and a graduate course focused on health issues in geropsychology. I also supervise doctoral dissertations which are usually related to older adulthood.
I identify as a counseling psychologist with expertise in geropsychology. My practice interests include healthy aging, caregiving, the intersection of physical and mental health in older adults, and psychological intervention with older adults.
