About the Scholars in Aging Program

The Ohio Scholars in Aging Program is a collaboration between the Ohio Department of Aging (AGE) and OAGE. Since 2013, more than 153 students representing about 20 Ohio colleges and universities across 30+ majors have participated. Each scholar completes an internship or community project, attends learning sessions, presents a poster at the OAGE conference, and receives a stipend upon completing all requirements.

Information about the 2027 Scholars Program will be released in the fall of 2026. For more information, contact Natalie Haslage at nhaslage@age.ohio.gov.
