Title: Where Can I Get Something to Eat?: How the Activities Team Can Support Nutritional Needs for Persons Living with Dementia.

Bio: Amy Kotterman, RDN, LD, serves as the Senior Executive Director of Integrated Operations for United Church Homes. Amy oversees multiple interdisciplinary service lines, including middle-market housing, memory care program management, and dining services.

Amy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Dietetics. She is a member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietetics in Health Care Communities, the chairman of the Ohio Health Care Association Dining and Nutritional Services Council, a 2016 recipient of the Distinguished Member Award for the Dietitians in Health Care Communities DPG, and a 2019 recipient of the LeadingAge Ohio Visionary Leadership Award.

Amy serves as a long-term care preceptor for the Medical Dietetics program for The Ohio State University and as a member of their Medical Dietetics and Nutrition Advisory Board.
