More Than 16 Tons of Prescription Pills Disposed in Ohio During National RX Take-Back Day

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) have announced that during the most recent National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 29th, Ohioans were responsible for disposing an estimated 16.6 tons (33,261 pounds) of unneeded, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs. If individuals were unable to participate on National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day and still have prescription medications that need to be properly disposed, there are drop-boxes located in several areas throughout the state which can be found here
