Bipartisan Governors Support CHIP Reauthorization

The following message was published today by the Ohio Office of Health Transformation:

John Kasich participated in the creation of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) as a Congressman in 1997, and today joined eleven governors to call on the current leaders in Congress to quickly reauthorize the program. The governors encouraged Congress to work across the aisle to find common ground that will allow the program to continue and provide the families who rely on CHIP the peace of mind of knowing that their children will be able to get the health care they need in the new year.
