Update from AAHomecare
Yesterday, CMS released the 2018 Medicare DMEPOS fee schedule that will go into effect beginning January 1, 2018. AAHomecare conducted a comparison between the 2018 and 2017 rates for the top 25 representative HME items and found that there were no changes made to the rates except for stationary oxygen concentrator (E1390). For suppliers in both rural and other non-bid areas, the estimated decrease for E1390 in 2018 will be 1.2% compared to the current rates.
