Congratulations to Miller's Rental and Sales, Inc., celebrating 70 years of service to communities in Northeast Ohio this year - the official celebration will take place in June. In an interview this week with WAKR radio, John Miller, president, provided a unique overview of the company's humble beginnings as a party rental business to the multiple location durable medical equipment business it is today. They offer home accessibility, custom wheelchairs, seat lifts, respiratory, and other HME. Most notable in this AAHomecare member's history is that Miller's is a third-generation, family-owned company. You can hear more about their success in the radio interview.
“The Miller family and the extended Miller’s family of so many caring staff members are blessed to do what we do each and every day," notes John Miller. "We see firsthand the positive impact we make in the lives of our clients. That is the big reason why we do what we do. We look forward to the future and 70+ more years of making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.”
OAMES is proud to recognize this company for their tremendous involvement in OAMES and incredible leadership in Ohio's HME community. John Miller and son John P. Miller have been extensively involved in OAMES since the association was first formed in 1981. Additionally, many on their staff have participated in numerous committees, workgroups and association projects over the years and remain very involved today. John was very active as an early OAMES member and leader volunteer and his son John P served many years on the Board of Directors, leading various committees, closely engaged on state and federal advocacy efforts, and was president of the association in 2011-2013.
