In order to obtain and retain your Medicare billing privileges, every Medicare DMEPOS supplier must meet the Supplier Standards. Too often, extra attention is placed on these standards when a supplier initially enrolls in the program, only to put them in the rearview as time goes on. It is only when the dreaded revocation notice from the National Provider Enrollment Contractor arrives that the reality of maintaining these standards is revisited. In this session, Kelly will discuss the importance of meeting supplier standards, maintaining appropriate accreditation guidelines, and understanding the state licensure requirements. Time will be spent addressing common pitfalls that a supplier may encounter, as well as what to do if you receive a revocation notice.
