The Ohio Office of Medical Assistance, responsible for administering the Ohio Medicaid program, has developed a provider survey to gain input on training needs from all health care providers serving Ohio Medicaid consumers. With the implementation of MITS, they understand that their training programs need to evolve so this survey will help them focus on what's most important to the provider community.
The survey can be accessed through two website locations:
1. http://jfs.ohio.gov/OHP/provider.stm under the NEWS column on the right side of the page the link is called Provider Training Survery.
2. http://jfs.ohio.gov/mits/MITS-Provider-Training.stm and the top of the page says Provider Training Survery.
We encourage OAMES members to participte in the survey to share ideas and expectations for educational needs from the HME community. OMA will use the information to target their training efforts over the coming months to ensure they are meetings providers' needs as much as possible and maximizing the MITS system. Please respond by April 30.
