The OAO Nomination Committee solicits nominations for positions on the OAO Board of Trustees.
If you are committed to furthering your profession and are ready to take an active leadership role at the state level, now is the time to consider involvement. OR, you may know a colleague passionate about inspiring
others and has a desired voice to advocate for Opticianry.
By stepping forward and having a voice in the OAO, you can significantly shape the future of opticians in Ohio. Your nomination could be the catalyst for positive change in our profession.
The strength of OAO lies in its active membership and the solid voice it provides in advocating for opticianry. Your commitment and readiness to roll up your sleeves and advocate for elevating Opticianry are crucial in
moving OAO forward.
The time involved for consideration:
• Attend Zoom meetings or face-to-face meetings (OAO currently holds
4-6 Board meetings a year)
• Attend Professional Education Development Events
• Willing to be involved on a committee
