The Apprentice Workshop is for new apprentices or apprentices that want to gain more knowledge.
The Opticians Association of Ohio lends support to Apprentices with a day full of workshops. Topics were chosen with the intent to increase your understanding and skill level of basic optics and boost your confidence as an apprentice optician.

This ABO & NCLE Basic Review course is designed for apprentices that are ready and preparing to take the NCLE or ABO certification examination.
OAO, in conjunction with the National Federation of Opticianry Schools (NFOS), will be offering the NCLE/ABO Basic review and Prep Courses. Professor Robert J. Russo, immediate past president of NFOS, will conduct the exam materials and assist you in your exam preparation. Professor Russo will answer questions and give you directions on appropriate study materials. Study handout material will be provided.
