 Back by popular demand, "The Apprentice Workshop" is for apprentices who want to gain more knowledge and confidence.

The Opticians Association of Ohio provides Apprentices with a day full of workshops. Topics were chosen to increase your understanding and skill level of basic optics and boost your confidence as an apprentice optician.

This workshop includes eye anatomy, transposition (plus & minus), optical cross, basic prism, lensometer (plus/minus cal.), vertical imbalance, decentration, troubleshooting glasses, repairs, and measurements.

The workshop provides all attendees with tool kits, lensometers, and head mannequins for personalizing adjustments.

• Don't forget to wear your 50's Sock Hop attire!

Meet the Educators
	Cynthia Lohman has been a dual-licensed optician for more than 30 years. She attended Tri-C's Optician Program and Ophthalmology Assisting Course. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with the optical industry. Cyndy is the Vice President of OAO and co-chair of the Apprentice Workshop.
Diana Walter is an Ohio dual licensed optician with over 30 years of dispensing experience. She has worked in retail and private practice and is currently at an ophthalmology practice in Northwest Ohio. She enjoys writing and presenting continuing education material and serving as a Trustee of the Opticians Association of Ohio. Diana is a Trustee of OAO and Co-Chair of the Apprentice Workshop.

** Laramy-K "The Ultimate ABO Study Guide" will be given to each registered attendee.

OAO is happy to offer a friendly cancellation policy. If you must cancel, OAO will give you 100% credit toward a future In-Person event. Please send us a note informing us that you cannot attend; we will credit your account with a DUE BILL that may be used within the year.

You can check out the OAO store for more study books. If ordered with registration, you may pick them up on the day of the event.

**Please note the Apprentice Workshop is NOT eligible for continuing education hours.
