The department of Surgery is ready to add an experienced Physician Assistant to the surgical team at Lutheran Hospital, located in Cleveland, OH (Ohio City area).

REQUIRED: The PA for this position must have prescriptive authority. (New grads will not be considered for this position.)
IDEAL: Good communication skills, confidence, team player.
The surgical cases are primary orthopedic, consisting of total joint, spine, and general surgery. Daily duties include but are not limited to: assisting with surgical procedures, performing H&P's, as well as post-op rounding and orders.
This is mostly OR work, and would involve some first and second assist. The provider in this role would be working with a group of surgeons on the caseload.
The patient population will be adults.
The schedule calls for regular business hours, with call on a rotational basis to cover one weekend a month. The PA in this role may have to occasionally stay after 3:30 to finish cases.
