Celebrating a Successful Pharmacology Conference & Membership Meeting
The 2025 Ohio Association of Physician Assistants Pharmacology Conference brought together the Ohio PA profession to expand knowledge, strengthen networks, and provide high quality pharmacology CME.
More than 120 PAs, presenters, and exhibitors gathered in Cuyahoga Falls, March 28-29, to explore the latest in pharmacology as it relates to dermatology, COPD, pain management, vaccines, diabetes, and more. View the agenda to see all of the great topics and speakers!
Attendees valued the top-notch educational experience and enjoyed their time networking over meals, during breaks, and at the happy hour.
The conference also provided the opportunity for OAPA to conduct a Membership Meeting, featuring these presenters:
- President Nathan Hart on OAPA's strategic goals (details to come in April's newsletter) and OAPA's strong financial report from 2024
- Vice President Michell McDiffett on OAPA's impending elections and invitation to candidates
- Government Affairs Committee Chair Matthew Freado on OAPA's legislative activity and upcoming PA Advocacy Day at the Statehouse on October 22
- Annual Conference Chair Madeline Meyers on plans for this year's big event, October 23-24, at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris
OAPA extends its gratitude to Pharmacology Conference Chair Emeritus Josanne Pagel, Event Chair Debra Kangisser, and committee members Teresa D'Alessandro, Melissa Irwin, Nancy Ivansek, and Madeline Meyers for their efforts to advance PA knowledge and practice through their work on this event.
