Tell us your PA Pair story!
We met during PA school and started dating within the first year. We’ve been married now for 12 years and have 2 kids. For Kelly, this is her first career. For Adam, he did get an ecotourism degree he used for a brief time but soon found his love for emergency medicine.
What is the most rewarding aspect of having the same profession?
The most rewarding aspect is having a partner who understands what you’re going through. We’re able to understand each other‘s hardships, struggles, and benefits of not only being a PA, but being a PA in the emergency room.
What is the most challenging aspect of having the same profession?
We don’t find many challenges. However, we do find ourselves sometimes having difficulties understanding what other people are experiencing in their professions.
What do you like to do together when you aren't talking shop?
In the small amount of time we find together in between work and our kids competitive sports, we like to spend it traveling with our two daughters. We are also very active with swimming, hiking, and biking.
