Description: Bats play important roles in many ecosystems, including urban spaces. We will discuss the status of Ohio’s bat populations, how bats use habitat in urban areas, and management tips and considerations to avoid conflicts while supporting bat conservation.
Presenter: Marne Titchenell is the Extension Wildlife Program Director with The Ohio State University. She works in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences in the School of Environment and Natural Resources. She offers a range of educational programs, workshops, conferences, and publications focused on wildlife ecology and biology, habitat management for wildlife, and the control of nuisance wildlife species.
