Budget Analyst

Buckeye Telesystem has an opening for a Budget Analyst. The Budget Analyst’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and administer the rolling budget and forecasting process for Telesystem. Duties include analysis, estimation, reconciliation, variance research, documentation, trending and synchronization of payroll, operating and capital budgets as well as incorporating project costs and timelines into the rolling forecast. Automation and consolidation processes will be administered by the Budget Analyst. The Budget Analyst will develop, maintain, adjust and issue standardized and ad hoc reports and graphs. The Budget Analyst will coordinate budgeting and forecasting models with other members of the department.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field – required
2 years of related experience (workplace or training) – required
Exceptional verbal and written communications – required
Working knowledge of SQL/database – preferred
Experience with or exposure to budgeting and forecasting – preferred
Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Access – preferred
Experience with or exposure to Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon) – preferred
