Faisal Quereshy, MD, DDS, FACS Honored with AAOMS Advocacy Challenge Coin

AAOMS designed its own Challenge Coin to recognize oral and maxillofacial surgeons who have made significant advocacy contributions on behalf of the Association. The distribution of these Challenge Coins will not only acknowledge these AAOMS members for their extraordinary service but perhaps also provide an inspiration to others to promote the specialty through advocacy.

OSOMS President-Elect Faisal Quereshy, nominated by Dave Morrison for his efforts during the COVID pandemic, was awarded a challenge coin.  

During the crisis Dr. Quereshy led OMS advocacy efforts with the Board of Directors, Ohio Dental Association, the Governor’s office, and state health authorities.  He helped prevent the call to completely close OMS offices during the pandemic emphasizing our roll as first responders in treating emergencies.  

Congratulations Dr. Quereshy!
