ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides training for drivers and spends time riding with drivers to assure adherence to rules/regulations.
Plans, coordinates and schedules transportation to meet needs of community.
Works with dispatcher/drivers to assure efficient use of software program and quality communication with riders.
Investigates critical incidents and accidents.
Provides transportation to clients when necessary.
Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of UCATS and Human Services vehicles is maintained.
Documents all relevant work activities.
Assists with billing, runs reports and makes recommendations for improvements.
Investigates and addresses client complaints.
Performs supervisory duties in supervisor’s absence including temporarily supervising the department.
Assists with covering the department with staffing shortages.
Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable safety standards.
Maintains required licensures and certification, if any.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma (or equivalent) plus work experience which meets the minimum essential functions of the position.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
Consistently and continually represents the agency in a positive and professional manner and provides appropriate internal and external customer service.
