Fall Into a New School Year with Realeyes
Along with crisp mornings, football games, back to school and all things pumpkin spice, the fall season offers a natural opportunity to reflect on routines, refresh our approach and embrace new possibilities. The Realeyes team is in full-throttle mode as we work to make the 2026–2027 school year one of our best yet!
In addition to scheduling vision education presentations across Ohio, our team is reaching out to new schools and exploring opportunities to bring Realeyes programming to even more students. We’re also leveling up our programming, so later this year, be on the lookout for a new twist from a pair of old friends!
The Realeyes program, which reached 82,355 students last year, would not be possible without the dedicated time and energy of volunteers across Ohio. Thank you for being part of the vision education Realeyes delivers. By reaching students where they are and helping them understand the value of comprehensive eye care, you truly are doing important work.

- Connect Virtually: Present on Zoom
Presenting on Zoom is a wonderful chance to connect with students without leaving your home or office. Realeyes will be adding Zoom dates to the calendar. If you are interested in presenting via Zoom please e-mail realeyes@ooa.org.
- Plan Your Outreach: Scheduling & Reporting Your School Presentations
The best Realeyes experiences are often ones where presenters have a direct connection to the school. Family members, neighbors, or patients are a wonderful starting point to get a foot into the school door!
- Inspire the Next Generation: The Career in Optometry Program
Realeyes provides a Career in Optometry handout for middle and high school students who might be interested in learning more about future possibilities. If you are asked to talk with classes, please let us know so we can provide materials!
