“While today’s decision is significant, it is one piece of the puzzle for overall health care reform,” said ACOFP President Paul Martin, DO, FACOFP dist. “The Supreme Court’s decision re-emphasizes how important it is that we remain committed to further reforms such as the repeal of the sustainable growth rate formula, medical liability insurance reform, and the adoption of medical home concepts.”
The ACOFP will continue to be a ready participant in the national discussion, and will work with Congress and the Administration to advance policies that provide a fair system for patients and physicians alike.
