Lead Pharmacy Technician $20-$25/ hr

Are you an experienced pharmacy technician who loves pharmacy but is ready for something different?

ThriveRx Health Pharmacy, a new independent community pharmacy opening in Delaware, Ohio, is looking for an exceptional Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our founding team.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a pharmacy from the ground up. You’ll work directly alongside the pharmacist/owner and have a meaningful role in creating our workflows, patient experience, organization, and team culture.

We’re building more than a traditional pharmacy. ThriveRx will combine prescription services with immunizations, health screenings, wellness services, supplements, metabolic health coaching, and personalized patient care.

What You’ll Do

As our Lead Pharmacy Technician, you’ll help manage the daily workflow of the pharmacy, including:

* Prescription entry and processing

* Insurance billing and troubleshooting rejected claims

* Prescription transfers and refill requests

* Patient and prescriber communication

* Inventory management, ordering, receiving, returns, and recalls

* Point-of-sale transactions

* Prescription pickup and delivery coordination

* Supporting immunization and clinical service workflows

* Maintaining accurate pharmacy records and documentation

* Helping establish efficient pharmacy workflows and organizational systems

* Assisting with training and leadership of future pharmacy technicians

* Providing exceptional, friendly patient service

* Working closely with the pharmacist/owner as the pharmacy grows

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is an experienced pharmacy technician who is:

* Confident with prescription processing and insurance troubleshooting

Qualifications

* Current Ohio pharmacy technician registration in good standing required

* Community/retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred

* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred

* Lead or senior technician experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Sunday: Closed

Saturday scheduling/rotation will be discussed during the interview process.
