Ohio's Jenelle Sobotka is APhA President-Elect Candidate

The Ohio Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce the candidacy of OPA member Jenelle Sobotka, PharmD for the office of President-Elect of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) for the 2008- 2009 term.  APhA members, please help support Jenelle by voting for her in APhA's Board of Trustee election. Cast your ballot TODAY. Ballots must be received by noon EDT, July 16, 2007.

Jenelle is the Professional Relations Director for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. Prior to this, she was Associate Director of the Iowa Pharmacy Association and Director of the Iowa Center for Pharmaceutical Care. She is a coauthor of the book entitled A Practical Guide to Pharmaceutical Care. Sobotka's practice experience also includes community, clinical/internal medicine, and academia. Jenelle earned her BS and PharmD degrees from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She is currently serving her second term on the APhA Board of Trustees.

Sobotka has been actively involved as an OPA member, serving two terms on the Ohio Pharmacists Association Board of Trustees from 2001- 2005. She has also been an active committee member and currently serves on OPA's Disease State Management Task Force.
