Cathy Kuhn Recognized as UNDER 40 Award Recipient

Catherine Kuhn, R.Ph., PharmD, BCACP, FAPhA

The Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA) announced today that Catherine Kuhn, R.Ph., PharmD, BCACP, FAPhA of Dublin, Ohio was honored as a distinguished UNDER 40 award recipient for professional achievements and vision in the practice of pharmacy at its 142nd Annual Conference held August 28-30.    

Kuhn has been highly involved in OPA, the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and her community. Within OPA, she has served as the President from 2017-2018, Trustee, the Vice Chair of the Medication Therapy Management Committee, and is a recipient of the Distinguished Young Pharmacist award. She is currently a member of the OPA Practice Advancement and Innovation Committee, and serves on the Provider Status Implementation Task Force. Kuhn is the current President of the APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management and a member of the APhA’s Board of Trustees. She volunteers at the Hardin Clinic -- Grace in the City and the Northwest Chapel. She is described by one of her peers as having a “passionate personality for promoting the role of the pharmacist.”

Kuhn earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University, followed by a community pharmacy residency at The Ohio State University.
