February 21: OPA UNDER 40 and Media Awards Nominations Deadline
OPA AWARDS SOLICITATION
OPA will recognize the accomplishments of members and media representatives throughout the state at the 2022 OPA Annual Conference, April 1-3, 2022, in Columbus. Information about the awards and their criteria may be found on the Awards nomination form which is linked below. February 21, 2022 is the deadline to nominate candidates for the 2022 OPA UNDER 40 Awards and Media Awards.
UNDER 40 Recognition Awards
OPA's UNDER 40 designation recognizes outstanding pharmacists who have exemplified leadership, excellence, and vision in their practices. This honor grants young pharmacists the opportunity to join the ranks of top-notch professionals from a variety of practice settings who have earned an UNDER 40 Award. Any OPA member may nominate any eligible OPA member for the UNDER 40 awards. To see a list of previous honorees, click here. The nomination or self-nomination form can be accessed at the link below. Criteria include:
- Under 40 years of age as of April 1, 2022
- An OPA member
- A licensed pharmacist
The UNDER 40 Recognition Award Program has been exclusively sponsored by OPA Media Award
Relationships with the media are a great way to promote the pharmacy profession and grow public awareness for all that we can do. These relationships help inform the public on medication safety and issues within our profession.
If you know someone who has been a champion for pharmacy in the media, please nominate them for a 2022 Print or Broadcast Media award. Awards are presented to persons in the media (broadcast and print) promoting medication safety or pharmacy issues to the public. Winners will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 1, at the OPA Annual Conference and Trade Show.
