The Eastern Ohio Pharmacists Assocation (EOPA) is officially starting back up, and this local association is looking for pharmacists in and near OPA's District 14 to get involved. That means pharmacists in Ashtabula, Columbiana, Geauga, Lake, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties. Roughly 1200 active pharmacists live in these five counties.
EOPA to restart their local association for the purpose of allowing pharmacists from these counties to gather and discuss issues of relevance to their specific practice setting as well as our profession. The first targeted meeting will be this Fall.
Since EOPA has just begun its relaunch, there are no officers and no dues yet, but they are looking for pharmacists to volunteer to help shape the future of the association in Eastern Ohio. Anyone interested in helping move this initiative forward can contact: Ray Carlson, RPh at EOPA85@yahoo.com.
