60 Minutes Looks at Heroin Epidemic in Ohio

On Sunday, the CBS news program 60 Minutes ran a story highlighting the nation's heroin epidemic. Reporter Bill Whitaker spent time in Ohio interviewing families whose lives have been forever changed as a result of opiate addiction. Last week, Governor Kasich announced an investment of $1.5 million a year to improve the state system that tracks and prevents prescription drug abuse.
