The Health Policy Institute of Ohio has released the latest tool from its Addiction Evidence Project: An online resource page on overdose reversal and other forms of harm reduction

Last month HPIO released a publication, "Ohio Addiction Policy Inventory and Scorecard: Prevention, Treatment and Recovery," the first in a series of inventories and scorecards analyzing Ohio's policy response to the addiction crisis and outlining areas where the state could be more effective.

HPIO has previously released an evidence resource page on prevention, treatment and recovery and a policy brief titled "Addiction Overview and Project Description," which sets the foundation for the addiction project by describing the basics of addiction and a framework for a comprehensive policy response.

On Tuesday June 26, the Institute will host a forum titled "What's next in the addiction crisis? Policy, practice and collaboration across the region." Speakers at the event will discuss policy changes and opportunities for improvement in Ohio and neighboring states (Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan).
