APA Honors Psychiatrists Who Served in Vietnam
The American Psychiatric Assocation (APA) held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to honor the only psychiatrist known to have died during the Vietnam War as well as other psychiatrists who served in Vietnam. Among those attending the ceremony was OPPA Executive Director, Janet Shaw, who chairs the District Branch/State Association Executive Directors Group. APA held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to honor the only psychiatrist known to have died during the Vietnam War as well as other psychiatrists who served in Vietnam.
