The Health Insurance Marketplace is now open!

As part of the Affordable Healthcare Act, beginning Oct. 1, the Health Insurance Marketplace offers a new, simpler way for uninsured (as well as currently insured) Americans and their families to purchase health insurance in one place.

The Marketplace is a new way to find quality health coverage. It can help if you don’t have coverage now or if you have it but want to look at other options.

With one Marketplace application, you can learn if you can get lower costs based on your income, compare your coverage options side-by-side, and enroll.

Coverage begins as early as Jan. 1, 2014 for people enrolling by Dec. 15, 2013. There is a range of coverage options available, allowing consumers to pick a plan that best meets their needs, the needs of their family, and their budget.

No matter what state a consumer lives in, he or she will be able to use the Marketplace to apply for coverage, compare options, and enroll. To visit the Marketplace, click HERE.

(Due to an overwhelming amount of visitors trying to get onto the site, users may have to wait some time before they’re able to apply.)
