"Buprenorphine Diversion and Misuse: Implications for Policy and Practice" is a two-part webinar scheduled for September 9 and 24.
The September 9 webinar will discuss multiple aspects of medication misuse and diversion, with a focus on risk factors at the patient, provider, and public-policy level. It will compare rates of diversion and misuse of buprenorphine with those of other pharmaceutical products, such as antibiotics, as well as with other opioids; describe the role of opioid pharmacology in misuse; and review consequences of these behaviors and strategies to mitigate them.
The september 24 webinar will continue the focus on diversion and misuse through clinical case reviews.
