Founded as Josina Lott Residential & Community Services in 1979, rebranded to Manahan in 2019 in honor of generous benefactors, this Intermediate Care Facility for adults with developmental disabilities provides residential, respite, and community programs including a waiver home. The main Toledo campus is nestled on 10 acres of serene land with day program services provided in nearby Sylvania in a beautiful secluded area. Fiscally sound, it is supported in part by the Manahan Fund, a trust administered by the Greater Toledo Community Foundation.

Reporting to the President of the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will bring experienced, compassionate leadership to the staff of 45 and the individuals served ensuring Manahan continues providing the highest level of care and services.
S/he will be an emphatic listener, exemplary communicator and team-builder looking for the opportunity to energizing a united strategic plan for the future. The individual chosen will understand and appreciate the many rewarding opportunities and reasonable challenges of leading caregivers and caring for those with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years’ experience as an executive level leader in an ICF or equivalent healthcare administrative role. S/he will have knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations related to the I/DD field, Medicare, Medicaid, ICF and Waiver Programs. The Board/Staff Search Committee will be most impressed with those who have proven themselves to be a responsive and objectively decisive leader, strategic thinker, with a commitment to diversity and transparency. Equally important, given Manahan’s strong reputation in the community, is experience as a proven collaborator, networker, and relationship builder. An earned Master’s degree in business, public health administration or related fields is essential; a thirst for continuing education helpful.
