The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), the world’s largest motorcycling organization with 215,000 plus members, is seeking an experienced and proven Membership Manager to help accelerate our member acquisition, renewal and fulfillment processes. This position is based on the AMA’s beautiful 20+ acre campus located in Pickerington, Ohio.

Key responsibilities:

Help track the logistics, execution and quality control of membership operations, including multi-faceted print mail and digital campaigns.
Under the direction of the department director, help create content and assist in strategy development in areas of membership acquisition and retention.
Utilize innovative problem-solving skills to meet and exceed project deadlines.
Work autonomously and collaboratively with teams across IT, marketing and events.
Assist in engaging members creatively through surveys, research and direct interactions.
Spearhead report generation, data queries, exports and list management.
Aid in member data integrity and accuracy within our database of 1.4 million records.
Support AMA-affiliated organizations in membership sales and relations.
Support external vendor relationships under the direction of the department director.
Track the fulfillment of internal member sweepstakes, benefits and discounts.
Collaborate with marketing on third-party member benefits.

The Ideal Candidate for AMA:

Proven track record in project management and meeting tight deadlines.
Experience in membership association management software. MemberSuite experience preferred.
Experience in marketing automation software. NetResults experience preferred.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong stakeholder-engagement and vendor-management skills.
Creative approach to member engagement and service fulfillment.
Motorcycling experience is valued but not required for this position. The successful candidate will be experienced in the art and science of membership growth and retention.
