Position Summary:

Destination Dayton is the destination marketing organization for Dayton/Montgomery County, Ohio. Its mission is to collaboratively lead and advocate for the development of the region’s visitor economy, which contributes to a thriving community, a diverse tax base and lifestyle amenities for everyone to enjoy.

Destination Dayton is seeking a dynamic, collaborative team leader to direct and lead the sales and services department. The Director of Sales and Services is responsible for developing and implementing long- and short-term sales strategies and budgets to ensure achievement of goals and will hire, train and motivate a successful sales and services team.

About the position and its ideal candidate:

A full-time, on-site position located in Dayton with the possibility of one to two remote work days per week.
Must be willing to travel.
A minimum of five years of experience in a sales leadership position with a destination marketing organization, hotel or related travel industry organization preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality Industry or related area or equivalent work experience desired.
