Cameron Mitchel Restaurants announced the chain will temporarily cease all operations beginning at the close of business on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
The Columbus-based chain, which includes a variety of restaurants across central Ohio, announced approximately 4,500 people — a vast majority of their associates — have been furloughed.
“Our incredible associates are our CMR family, and we are heartbroken," said the chain in a statement. "With them, we’ve celebrated new lives and mourned losses, we’ve laughed and cried, and we’ve worked together to serve our guests and support each other. We are committed to helping them through this unprecedented time.”
