Governor Mike DeWine said Sunday a “stay-at-home” order will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Monday through April 6. The state’s health department director, Dr. Amy Acton, signed the order Sunday, he said.
Daycares also will be closed, starting Thursday. They must have a pandemic child care license to operate.
“We have not faced an enemy like we are facing today in 102 years," DeWine said. "You have to go back to the 1918 influenza epidemic. We are certainly at war. I don’t know any other way to describe it other than to say we are at war.”
