A Top-level Supply Chain View
Logistics have been a major part of what has kept the economy going in the midst of a major health crisis, although there have been plenty of challenges.
With that in mind, the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN), a nonprofit formed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to help navigate supply chain needs in response to major emergencies, recently launched a new digital tool, the Supply Chain Intelligence Center, to help organizations better understand the state of the freight system.
In a news release, ALAN Executive Director Kathy Fulton noted that the tool came about in part because of the number of significant changes in the supply chain landscape in recent months.
