With a growing need for contact tracing to help manage the spread of COVID–19, the association space is stepping up to help train health agencies on identifying and tracking cases.
The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) announced this week a free on-demand course to help train new contact tracers to help identify and track new COVID–19 cases. The course, which takes three hours to complete, aims to be easy to follow for people with no public health or medical experience to add to the needed contact-tracing ranks.
