On Nov. 16, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) chief of strategic direction stepped into the role of interim administrator/CEO. John Logue has worked for 26 years in the industry, including some time at BWC in the early 1990s. Before returning to BWC in 2019, he most recently served as vice president at Sedgwick Claims Management Services.
Logue takes over for former Administrator/CEO Stephanie McCloud, who Governor Mike DeWine tapped earlier this month to lead the Ohio Department of Health. McCloud had been BWC's administrator since January 2019. Logue's appointment is pending confirmation in the Ohio Senate.
