President Donald Trump was not informed of a recent Ukrainian attack on Russia, The Hill's sister network NewsNation confirmed Sunday.
An administration official told NewsNation's Tanya Noury that the president was not given a heads-up about the drone attack that a Ukrainian security official alleged destroyed more than 40 planes well within Russian territory, according to The Associated Press.
In the first few months of his second term, Trump and his administration have pushed for an end to the war between Ukraine and Russia. The war, which began during former President Joe Biden’s term, recently passed the three-year mark.
