The first mobile lung cancer screening unit in Ohio was recently launched, expanding early detection and prevention efforts statewide.
The unit was presented by The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James), part of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
The OSUCCC – James mobile unit will visit rural and underserved areas in Ohio where smoking rates are higher, according to a release from Wexner Medical Center.
