The Ohio Legislature is currently on summer recess. Now that the primaries are over, the focus has shifted to the general election this November—when we will be electing a new governor, U.S. Senator, Supreme Court Justices, and members of the Ohio General Assembly.
The legislature will be returning for a lame-duck session after the election, which is when we anticipate a number of healthcare-related policies to be debated—including insurance, scope of practice, and other regulatory reforms.
