Introducing OSMA’s New CEO
Dear Members & Our Ohio Health Care Community,
OSMA has selected Jason Koma, MHA as our new Chief Executive Officer, following a comprehensive search process.
Jason brings a strong blend of healthcare leadership, advocacy experience, and a deep understanding of Ohio’s physician community. Most recently, Jason served as Executive Director of the Charitable Healthcare Network (CHN), where he led significant organizational growth, strengthened statewide collaboration among healthcare providers and elevated CHN’s visibility through strategic communications and advocacy efforts.
Prior to CHN, Jason held senior leadership roles with Mount Carmel Health System playing a key role in advancing policy initiatives, leading regional strategy, and guiding the system’s COVID-19 response and vaccine distribution efforts.
Importantly, Jason is no stranger to OSMA. Earlier in his career, he served in leadership roles with the organization, including Director of Communications and Marketing, where he worked closely with physicians and stakeholders across the state. This prior experience gives him a unique perspective on OSMA’s mission and the evolving needs of our members.
Jason’s background in advocacy, communications, and healthcare leadership positions him well to lead OSMA into its next chapter, strengthening our voice, expanding our impact, and continuing to deliver value to physicians across Ohio.
